Preparation for "Rotary Rollin' Derby"

Our first Rollin' Derby will be held Sunday, August 21, 1pm to 3pm at Lapeer Days. The hill on Nepessing Street adjacent to Rotary Park will be used for this event. Jim McCarter and Tony Diodato are Co-Chairing the committee and we're looking for help from the club in the following areas:

  • Decorations
  • Registration
  • Trophies
  • T-Shirts
  • Ramp Operators (4)
  • Timers (2)
  • Refreshments

Thanks to all of you who attended the Installation Dinner last week. I hope you enjoyed the evening as we Celebrate Rotary's first 100 years and look forward to another century of Service above Self. Every year Rotary International selects a theme and the 2005 - 2006 theme "Service above Self" calls us to re-discover Rotary as we prepare to write the first chapter of the next 100 years.
