Hurricane Relief

Many members have asked about Rotary's hurricane relief efforts. As with the Tsunami or any natural disaster, Rotary International believes other agencies and organizations such as the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity can render assistance more effectively with financial support from Rotary. it is up to individuals or clubs to organize fund raising efforts but RI has set up a special fund to work with the affected districts. Columbus set out to find a Western Passage to the Orient. The "Moon Shot" of his time. Unfortunately, he bumped into North America and ultimately failed in his original mission. Sometimes pursuing a Big Hairy Audacious Goal yields unexpected results which exceed the original goal.
